Datu Salumay trails

Datu Salumay’s trails run on true mountain terrain—long climbs, hard descents, and sections that demand pacing rather than pure speed. The route structure supports longer categories because elevation gain is the core challenge, and the terrain naturally breaks the race into workable segments for checkpoints and support.

The montane trails have been hosting past editions of the Datu Salumay Invitational Trail, recently a part of Asia Trail Master's Grandmaster Quest series–proving the area can stage a high-demand competitive trail weekend at a recognized international indexing level.
