Venue Details & Specs

Formerly the Hanjin Boat Terminal, Agila Subic Shipyard fronts deep, sheltered waters along Cubi Point on Subic Bay Freeport. Long quays and service aprons provide room for start and finish setups beside the water, while internal roads link directly to Freeport proper. The harbor’s configuration delivers a protected race course with straightforward sighting lines and buoy placement.

The venue hosted the men’s open water event for the 2019 Southeast Asian Games— a 10-km course that ran inside the bay adjacent to the terminal area. This successful staging highlighted Subic Bay’s capability to host an international-level open-water swimming meet.
