Venue Details & Specs
Designated as a national marine reserve, Taklong Island consists of low-lying islets and coral-rimmed coves a short distance away from the Guimaras island proper. Calm channels and beach approaches support open-water swimming circuits while scenic beaches encourage more spectators and recreational swimmers.
In 2024, swimmers took to the water against Taklong Island’s coves and islets during the third leg of the Western Visayas International Open Water Swim Circuit.
