Opened in 2008, Hoops Dome is a purpose-built indoor arena for hardcourt events and crowd-ready tournaments. The air-conditioned bowl can accommodate 6,000 seated fans and features essential back-of-house facilities, including team areas and locker rooms.

Hoops Dome hosted the Final Four of the 2023–2024 East Asia Super League, bringing international club basketball to Lapu-Lapu City. This successful staging underscored the stadium's readiness to meet international hosting expectations.
