Inaugurated in 2023, Candon City Arena features high-quality maple hardwood, flexible seating and athlete-ready facilities fit for national and international sporting competitions. It reinforces Candon City’s vision as a rising hub for sports tourism in Region I.

In 2025, the arena made history by hosting the first international volleyball tournament in Northern Luzon. Five national teams from across Southeast Asia kicked off the 5th SEA Men’s V.League here, drawing athletes, fans and staff alike to the city.
