Part of the greater Visayan Sea, Campeomanes Bay is Sipalay’s top destination for sports and adventures. Its 7.5-km stretch of pristine waters, with near-shore depths of around 3 m and calm-to-moderate wave conditions, offers an ideal natural setting for competitive open-water swimming races.


In 2024, Campomanes-Ballo Marine Reserve and Sanctuary hosted the first-ever Western Visayas International Open Water Swim Circuit. Over 140 swimmers of all ages competed in 1.5 km, 3 km and 5 km race distances across the shore, while more than 400 families, friends and guests energized the city.
